I chose my overalls [...]]]> Even though I was extremely excited to hang out with the new puppy this weekend (see the previous post), as it turns out, new puppies can’t walk, see, or hear. So I had a little free time on my hands. And I decided it was time to work on my Carhartt overalls. I chose my overalls because a) I use them for working/playing outside, so it won’t matter too much if it didn’t turn out how I planned and b) I’ve been strangely resistant to buying embroidery stabilizer and the canvas is stiff enough not to need it.

My little embroidery hoop was probably not built to handle this type of project, but it held up great. It’s really looking like spring here and I’m looking forward to some hikes and a chance to sport my new stars. What are you doing for spring?
