Welcome to onalarkdesign.com

Thanks for stopping by! I’ve been sewing for several years now, but I mostly just made unfortunate looking clothes or altered clothes I already had. Luckily, handbags and accessories always fit! Let me know what you think of my work! I’m hoping to open an Etsy store in the near future, but I’m always available for custom orders.

  • I take it back – this is a great website and very interesting and fun to see the process and read your commentary. I would like one of these bags so we will talk about color. You are so talented.

Em, this is awesome! It was so neat to see your bags last night.I’m going to check my button basket, and if I have any big ones I’ll send them your way.

    Emmie,

I love your website. Great job! I’ll be sure to visit before Sharon’s birthday next year!

Regarding large buttons: Fimo clay. You need it. Get whatever colors you like, form and bake the buttons, and polish them on a bench grinder with a muslin wheel.

What a neat website. Enjoyed all of it! I would be totally lost without my sewing machine. I forget meetins, meals, and everything else when I’m in my little tiny sewing room. It’s great therapy.
